About the Webinar
A pre-application webinar was be held on July 15, 2019 for all prospective applicants interested in the following Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs):
- RFA-OD-19-021: Maximizing the Scientific Value of Existing Biospecimen Collections: Scientific Opportunities for Exploratory Research (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
- RFA-OD-19-022: Secondary Analyses of Existing Datasets of Tobacco Use and Health (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
NIH and FDA staff provided an overview of the FOAs, information on the application review process and answer questions from prospective applicants. Participation in the webinar is not a prerequisite to applying.
Please note the following corrections to Dr. Lisa Postow's presentation:
- Minute 33:28: Presenter indicates that one or more of these research questions MUST be addressed. Correction: this list represents examples of research questions, but this is not an exhaustive list. See new slide 5.
