Pathways to Prevention Workshop: Advancing Research to Prevent Youth Suicide . March 29-30, 2016

The Content-Area Expert Meeting was held September 17–18, 2015. The information provided here was accurate at the time of that meeting.

Initial planning for the Pathways to Prevention (P2P) Workshop was carried out by a Content-Area Expert Group composed of patient representatives and scientific Content-Area Experts from the federal government, academia, and clinical practice. Members of the Content-Area Expert Group were chosen by the sponsoring National Institutes of Health (NIH) Institutes, Centers, or Offices (ICs), as well as attendees of a federal organizational meeting. The Content-Area Expert Group was charged with drafting questions that the AHRQ Evidence-based Practice Center will consider for the systematic evidence report that serves as a foundation for the P2P workshop. The Content-Area Expert Group may draft additional questions for the workshop that will be addressed by invited speakers. These presentations will supplement information provided in the systematic evidence report. The Content-Area Expert Group also developed the agenda, nominated speakers and panelists, selected the workshop date, and continues to be engaged in ongoing workshop planning.
