Jessica Wu, Ph.D.

Health Science Policy Analyst

Dr. Wu is a Health Science Policy Analyst who joined the ODP in August 2012. She first joined the ODP as an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow. Dr. Wu’s responsibilities include portfolio analysis, program planning and evaluation, and communications. As a Fellow, she participated in the development of the first strategic plan for the ODP, worked on the ODP Physical Activity Workshop and related activities, and developed scientific content for the website.

Before joining the ODP, Dr. Wu was involved with different nonprofit organizations promoting physical activity in urban youth and science education for girls. Dr. Wu earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University. She is an avid supporter of interdisciplinary collaboration and communication.
