Dr. Ganoza joined the ODP as a Prevention Science Research Analyst in March 2018. At the ODP, Dr. Ganoza provides research support across several strategic priorities.
Before joining the ODP, Dr. Ganoza worked in a consulting company as a Senior Research Analyst, where he assisted in multiple tasks for the ODP, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. His responsibilities included providing coding, data management, data analysis, literature reviews, and subject matter expert services for various companies’ projects. Dr. Ganoza also has experience in epidemiologic surveillance and primary care medicine, having worked in disease surveillance systems at local and regional levels. He also participated in several health interventions while practicing overseas.
Dr. Ganoza completed his medical training at Ricardo Palma University (Lima, Peru) and received a Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from The George Washington University (Washington, DC).
