Chino Amah-Mbah joined the ODP in 2021. As a Project Administrator, she supports activities for several strategic priorities including analysis of NIH investments in prevention research and assessing their impact, facilitating collaborative research across the NIH and federal government, and identifying research gaps and opportunities.

Before joining the ODP, Ms. Amah-Mbah worked at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on the substance use prevention team as a Center for Substance Abuse Prevention fellow with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. While in graduate school, she provided direct behavioral health services during her field placement. She also performed COVID-19 data curation work as a graduate research assistant with the Models of Infectious Disease Study (MIDAS) Network at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.

Ms. Amah-Mbah earned her Master of Public Health (behavioral and community health sciences) and Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Bachelor of Science in health promotion and behavior with a certificate in global health from the University of Georgia.
